This is not meant to be just my dream diary. I encourage anyone who sees this thread to share their dreams.

My dreams have a lot to do with transportation. Trains, planes and automobiles.

Recently I had a dream where I was desperately running to catch a train in a setup that looked nothing like any public transit that I've ever experienced. This nightmare combined the anxiety of catching a train with the terror of crawling on my hands and knees, trying to scream, but no sound coming out. I remember feeling helpless, unable to walk normally, and screaming for help but unable to be heard.

I mean, it doesn't take a genius to unpack the meaning of such a scene.

Who else is dreaming and wants to share?

I've been having a lot of dreams involving underwater scenes, either with me or someone else in them.

Apparently underwater/water symbolizes the subconscious mind.

Yesterday I dreamt of seeing two men in a tank filled with water and one was floating on his back.

The other took two short swords and stabbed the floating man in the back brutally.

Upon waking up I had the name "Tubal-Cain" resonate in my head, which was random, as I do not read the bible.

But I Googled it and Tubal-Cain was a descendant of Cain, and a black-smith, considered to have "seasoned and improved the work of Cain" by forging weapons which obviously were used to kill people more efficiently.

I'm not sure how to apply this symbolism or imagery to my life - it could mean betrayal, but not sure in what context.

I tend to agree with that interpretation of 'underwater'. I'm not prescriptive about these things, but I think there are some images that resonate with the human psyche in a metaphorical way.

Very interesting dream! I hope it provides you with rich material to unpack. That's what I'm getting from my dreams.

I want to say more about some particularly memorable dream experiences. As I mentioned, I sometimes fly in airplanes in my dreams. In a couple of those dreams, I've flown over places that I've never seen in real life. The pyramids in Egypt and the Ural mountains in Russia come to mind. The imagery is so vivid in my mind. Like, I'll surely be disappointed if I ever see these places in real life. :p But the dream imagery was actually so cool and memorable as well.

Frankly a lot of my dreams involve impactful locations. The settings of my dreams make the most impact on me and have the most detail. People don't often appear and when they do, more often than not they're trying to hurt me. There's definitely a lot to unpack there for me, lol.

The traveling around the world in dreams seems like a positive theme.

Maybe it symbolizes your desire for new experiences, a new environment?

Or you could actually be astral-traveling to these locations with your astral body.

I've thought about these possibilities, especially the first one, because I had the opportunity to travel a bit close to ten years ago, and even though the experience was challenging, I'm eager to see more of the world.

I've also considered the possibility of astral travel because I'm open to the idea of parallel realities and... dream states with spiritual realism? But I remain skeptical.

I have had a dream about going to a vending machine near a train station, and hearing the train. I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't able to finish looking at the snacks, however as the train turned into a plane with it's blue-white roof lights, rounded windows and upwards tilt, I felt relaxed, and as it rotated, I was surprised that I was able to not fall, and the train-plane did not crash from flying upside down for a similar amount of time.... then it flew diagonally up.
