Hey,

I saw some kind of suicide instruction manual a long time ago that advised using some kind of sleeping agent to ease the activity of survival instincts, is this something actually worth considering to aid an attempt? Specifically asking for advice in relation to DPH, obviously.

I've seen some sites that report it's actually more likely to make somebody feel panicked and paranoid, I just want accurate info.

DPH in high amounts will make you delusional and hallucinate, and for a lot of people, has the opposite of a sedative effect.

For the sedative effect, it only occurs in lower doses, and it's not powerful enough to be anything significant. Will make you a tad sleepy, that's it. Not enough to overcome SI, imo.
