Like most people here I have a strong survival instinct and my brain obviously won't allow me to consciously lower myself and kill myself (partial suspension)

So often I try to force myself to think of other subjects so that my brain can't focus on what's happening and stop me from going through. Said subjects include food, sex, and weirdly enough deep sea creatures. Literally just anything to try to make my brain stop thinking for a few seconds so I can lose consciousness.

Does anyone here also do this? If so what do you force yourself to think about?

breathing for sensation, my ex for visuals, just becoming aware of an internal voice and movie makes a big difference, allowing me to navigate what is a challenging space
