DMC going to san jose after being in my city? Kinda scared why is it going like 3 states over after literally being in my city?

What did the tracking say when it was in your city, and what did it say when it moved to San Jose? I might be able to figure it out. The USPS network is all kinds of fucked right now, the way they are consolidating it makes the mail move ass backwards sometimes. Like in my city they are phasing out a plant so mail lands at the airport and instead of getting sorted 2 miles away it goes 30 miles over to the new plant on the other side of town, then comes back to the old plant for the local sorting. It adds an extra day for no reason. Your package may be mixed in with other destinations that need to get separated at the main plant.

I wouldn't worry. It's just.how the system works. I have had the same thing happen before with other items in my area. Just how their network is sometimes.

It said it was in a distribution center and was "moving through the network". It actually arrived to my p.o box today thankfuly. But that sure was scary, idk why it would go 3 states over like that

It arrived today so thankfully it was just the usps system. Still kinda weird to me that theyve wasted time like that to move it back and forth 3 states over
