I grew up in a religious household. I am a believer in god , I believe that whatever happens , good , bad, middle of the road is cause of the karma we did in previous lives.
. As per cycle of karma, whatever we experience in this life is a result of the deeds we did in previous lives, good deeds bring in good things in life and vice versa. They say that by god's grace we can overcome the bad karma or sometimes just burn it by chanting the name of god and praying to him.
I want to know your opinions, do you -agree or disagree? Why? I just want to know alternative beliefs and opinions. Thanks

I agree. Past life recall can be a powerful practice to find out what you did that has led to these circumstances. It explains a lot of the queries people have about why life seems unfair. And partly I just find it useful psychologically to help take responsibility for myself to assume I deserve to be exactly where I am and even if I can't improve things in this life, I can for the next one. It would be a good way to frame life even if it wasn't true.

Bro, if this is karma, I must have been Hitler in my last life. This existence* is ridiculous.

Karma is a great concept.
Some terrible people skate through life unhindered by karma.
Some good people cannot get a break.
As a thing, it is inconsistant.

How did you do past life recall?

There are a few past life regression specialists in the country where I live. There will probably be some where you live too if you look it up? It feels like a hypnotic state, like you're reliving the experience again. It feels like "you" but it's not your current body. The way my specialist did it, it's like going up an elevator until the door opens to the place I was in the previous life, and then re-experiencing it. The feeling at the end is like "ooohhh, that's why all this shit has happened" and then for me "fuck, there's probably a lot more to come too!"

I disagree, it doesn't make any sense being judged based on a life that you don't even remember about.

Reincarnation never made any sense to me because of this, if you're the same entity as the past lives, but don't remember anything about it, you're a actually a new person.

If you believe on that logic, we could say that every human being are just multiple reincarnations of the same one entity living at the same time.

Well, I guess I agree since my predicament feels truly designed.

There are some family members of mine who had 'supernatural' experiences like a psychic (I'm not sure you'll find a legit one in this day and age although I believe some of them still exist) who told them of stuff they did in their supposed past lives, which was corrobated by other things in the present day that psychic couldn't have possibly known (this was before the Internet). By psychic, I'm referring to someone with some uncanny ability not a palm reader, tarot reader, rune reader, medium, etc., that doesn't do it for financial gain or someone you could just find in an ad or online.

Returning to the topic – I believe it. This is why if I plan to CTB and if my health condition allows me to do it, I'm going to make sure I do it in a place I call home, so I could reincarnate in that vicinity. I mean this seems like nonsense, and I'm not even sure if reality is set up that way, but I guess everything is arguably based on a belief.
