That sounds awful- I'm sorry. Going to sound very cliche and I hope it doesn't come across as intrusive or patronising but, have you been diagnosed with OCD? The symptoms sounds similar (to a lay person- I'm not a psychiatrist or anything.) It sounds an awful state of mind to be in though. I'm sorry.
