Looked up the height of the building I chose. Did some math with ChatGPT and found out that falling from a ~30 m tall building, I will hit the pavement at about 25 m/s which I think was like 85 kmph. According to chatGPT that should deliver an impulse of about 5000 N, which seems enough to kill a human? Idk, ChatGPT says the fall should take about 2.5 seconds. Probably not long enough to feel regret. I'll close my eyes. Death should be instantaneous if I hit my head. Or within a few seconds if I badly damage my organs and circulatory system. Hopefully I die fast.

I am still feeling scared thinking about that image of falling really fast. But I have no other choice. The end is near now.

The problem with jumping is that people die from a 2 ft fall and survive a 100 ft fall. The general consensus around here is 150 foot or 46 meters onto concrete and 250 feet or 78 meters into water should be fatal. 30 meters is a bit low, but if you are landing on concrete and can manage to aim yourself headfirst, you could succeed.

I haven't found any building taller than this that I can access at night alone.

Every good wish for finding peace.
I have posted previously about the partner of a friend who recently jumped from a 240 feet high promontory onto a rocky foreshore. He survived and is presently in a High Dependency Unit with two spine fractures, both legs broken and detached ribcage front & rear.
This is not to try to stop anyone jumping if there is no alternative, however it put me off this method and the possibility of surviving crippled has to be factored in.

But there are no statistics, right? Everywhere they say that above 10 floors they almost do not survive, and this is rare.

I have seen no verified statistics re survival rates from jumping from height. I'm not sure where the information comes from upon which others are basing their opinion.
I'd certainly accept that 10+ stories would seem likely to prove fatal, however the experience of this particular man has caused me to re evaluate my own thoughts on jumping.
As I said in my post, I'm certainly not intending to stop anyone from doing what seems best to them.
