Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

If you're in most states in the US, you practice DST. We recently "fell backward" and it's documented that this alteration in time causes health problems. If you have SAD, you know this all too well. But for me, it goes way beyond being sleepy or having a depressed mood. It full on warps my mind with mood swings, delusional thinking, and such oddities for about two weeks. Does anyone else experience this?

not in the US, but until january i'll have 9 hours of daylight at most (as opposed to 13-16 in the rest of the year). it's absolutely terrible, as i leave my house when it's full on dark and come back hours after sunset. for me it causes more anxiety spikes, withdrawing from people and being emotionally numb. i also have recurring thoughts about relapsing into SH, which i haven't done for over a year now. if it doesn't get better in a span of a month or so i'll certainly try to change my antidepressants, because i can't function like that in the long term. hopefully it will soon get easier for both of us 🫂

Maybe not to such an extreme but, it does definitely throw me off for a few days. I continue to get hungry and tired at the original time. Plus, it is just miserable. It was looking like dusk at 3.30 in the afternoon the other day.

I struggle with it, but not as much as you're describing. For me the world just seems more frightening with it being dark so early so it becomes harder to go outside which has a knock on effect on my mental health because I'm being reclusive and when I go out I'm on edge.

I always hated the daylight savings, as it did more harm than good to me and to most people I know. There was a talk about abandoning it in my country few years ago, but sadly it never came to pass.
