• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

"The last resort if you can't afford a funeral – for example, if you have no family or friends or anyone with the funds to pay for it – is a council funeral. In the past this was known as a pauper's funeral, and they include no flowers, transport, or choice in time or location for those who may wish to attend. You likely will not have a headstone, and could potentially be buried in a shared grave or have your ashes scattered on council grounds. A grim thought. Essentially, although your body will be dealt with, it'll be a no-frills affair."

it's a huge industry.
and for example in Paris, there is just ONE place for cremation and they're overwhelmed so your body needs to "wait" until they can make the cremation.
can wait 4/5 days and family needs to pay for that also.

With a council funeral, will my family have to pay back that money? They have to pay for the body waiting to be buried? What?
