I have been an unhappy person for many years. But back in April, I had Covid 19 and was bed bound for 3 weeks. Ever since then, my energy level has never returned to normal. I also wish for the days when I was just unhappy, because now I am fighting extreme darkness and messed up emotions each and everyday. Has anyone else experienced anything similar with Covid 19?

I believe I had covid back in September of 2019, but I didn't have any long lasting effects from it. I've never heard of anyone else having this issue but it's hard to say. People don't often talk about depression or such issues outside of places like this.

I do know the lockdowns are having huge impacts on the mental health of many. Regardless, I'm sorry you're going through this

I've heard of some people struggling with depression after getting covid, especially if they end up being long haulers. What you're going through sounds awful, and I truly hope things begin to get better soon for you.
