Hi there,
I was wondering if overdosing on Carvedilol [generic for Coreg] as a viable way to CTB? I have had congestive heart failure but have recovered most of my heart functionality but for reasons that takes too long to explain I decided it may not be worth to keep going. I am a male in my early 30s, 6'2", 230lbs [sharing because dosage matters, right?]. I have over 200 25mg Carvedilol and was wondering if this will be quick? I have access to alcohol so i can drink myself to a stupor if needed and let the pulmonary edema do the rest.
The reason I ask is I tried reading some threads here and that helped me become aware that prescription drugs are not always a reliable way to get the job done. In my youth i tried to do a tylenol/acetaminophen overdose and i just walked away with liver damage. I don't have access to firearms and I tried the night night method but i can't get it quite right or my neck is still a little fat [I lost 40lbs and have been going to the gym consistently but there's still a good chunk of my body that's still fat].
I also saw some studies that cited beta-blocker overdose but inconclusive on how long it takes to get the job done. I have a family and I'd rather not have them see me more damaged and alive and just want it to be one final pain and be done with it.
Any advice is appreciated and thanks all! I know the obvious of "if you're going to CTB, why do you care if you make it or not?" and glad people here have the same mindset of "well if I end up surviving, i don't want to be more disabled than I already am"
