i can't remember the last time i was happy. the only memories i have that are pleasant are with people who have died/have left my life. i don't consider childhood as joyous because any positive emotions during that time were shrouded in innocence and ignorance. i don't have anything to compare my agony to. no positive experiences to hope for again.
