i think, im pretty sure i have audhd (to help explain where it might be coming from), tbf, it might also be coming from my general overall health. im working on my sleep, im under-nuriourished (atypical anorexic), and more often than not dehydrated. just in general my selfcare sucks, i know i know im working on it. and maybe that alone the most responses ill get is "take care of yourself". i know theres a concerning about of issues that can cause concentration issues. maybe its from all the concussions i had and im just screwed.

anyway, possible causes aside, is there anything i can take for concentration??

i just sit here watching the time pass, and i have so much to do.

for more info: weed/hash does nothing, shrooms wouldnt help. ativan doesnt help. (idk if these would actually be suggested but just, ive had them for other purposes and its not the answer)
id prefer to avoid the heavier drugs (like ativan/benzos). but if it worked for you or you cant think of anything else, ill mull it over.

id really appreciate any insight, care or just "omg i know!" 🫂🫂💜💜

more often than not dehydrated.
Even mild dehydration will have noticeable impact on concentration.

I used to have problems with keeping hydrated but was able to correct this by basically treating water as if it's a medication to be taken on a regular basis. For a long time, I would literally record my water intake just to make sure I was having enough through the day. I'd drink it even if I wasn't thirsty, and even if I really didn't want it at all at the time.

After a while, it just became habit. (Actually I still keep semi-track of my water intake but only to make sure I'm not accidentally drinking too much of it.)

You could also look at something with electrolytes added to it, just to try to somewhat-compensate for the effects of anorexia.

i think, im pretty sure i have audhd
Is this to say you're not diagnosed with ADHD or taking medication for it?

If not, then I'd look at a stimulant like Ritalin, Adderall, or Vyvanse which would be prescribed irrespective of an autism diagnosis. If you do have ADHD going on, then it's possible that medicating it could make a world of difference for you.

Definitely worth talking to your doctor about!

im technically keeping track :ahhha: "my lips are chapped, i should probably get some water instead of ignoring it" XD. im trying to take this month to concentrate on my water intake, but ill be sure to try and pay more attention 🙂💜

no, im not. but i do have bpd so im on the "neurodivergent scale" and relate with autism and adhd content creators. (and not being diagnosed doesnt change the way my brain is working (or lack there of) 😁✌️)

ive been wondering about that. im not the biggest fan of being medicated. ive always had a belief that id rather be depressed than fake happy. but i guess this is different? its not directly my happiness but my function that would make me happier. ill definitely keep it in mind.

thank you for your perspective and advice. i appreciate it 🫂💜.
