Is it possible to overdose on clozapine? I know there is a post saying that prescription drugs are a bad idea, but still, if you have access to large doses of clozapine, can you expect to go into a coma and stop breathing, or some other fatal outcome if you take several packs of the drug?
Is it possible to die from neuroleptic syndrome or intoxication if you take more than 6000 mg?

yes it is possible but the overdose will take a long time and will carry a high chance of failure, which will be very unpleasant.

If they find you within the next 24 hours, it will most likely mean failure, since they will definitely rescue you, right?

ya you are likely to be rescued unless you live alone and don't have anyone coming to check on you

Thanks.
How much time it can be to ctb after overdose I need?
I take it this could happen anywhere from a few hours to a few days. And to succees perfectly I need few days without any people who can check me ?

And question in general. If I live with someone who can check on me Drug overdose is probably a losing battle anyway, if I'm not a lucky and take ctb for few hours?

Taking boxes of Clonex was my first and only (so far) attempt. I was using it 200-250mg per day for years and I took like 2 boxes of clonex pills to kill myself.

First of all, it seems you build resistance for it, if you're using it for years. The numbing effect of all those pills (must be more than 6000mg) didn't hit me as hard as it should. But I was at hospital within 1 or 2 hours maybe that's why...

Second and most important part is SI. SI took hold on me way before taking pills. I was like a cornered prey, the blind terror of SI I felt is indescribable. I took the pills and then realized I had to... wait. But I was in a panic mode and after like 10 mins.(?) of SI horror, I gave up.

I don't advise clozapine OD. But maybe you have stronger willpower than I do and make it through the process without fleeing to the nearest hospital. Still, even if it kills someone, it seems it's a long process.
I'll try SN (and gun as a backup) next time :)

Thank you for your reply. Am I correct in understanding that you took the pills and were overcome by panic, so you went to the hospital yourself to get help?

Perhaps if you had held out longer, the desired effect would have kicked in after a while?

I'm also worried about addiction, as I've been taking them for quite a long time and I think my body may react more easily than it should.

Yes, a gun is ideal, but I have nowhere to get one :(

Actually panic started before taking the pills. I planned to get drunk on whiskey to ease the process but when I poured my first glass of shot, fear started. Up to that point, I was so sure of myself. I really wanted to die so the fear was unexpected. Probably starting (taking action) the process triggered it. I couldn't even drink any whiskey because I get nausea because of fear. After quickly taking the pills, the fear became that blind panic which broke me. I wasn't alone and after a while I went to next room to wake my parents up. They took me to hospital. It was my early twenties...

It might've done its job if I had the courage to wait longer... or not, I don't know. But waiting a while after I totally lost my courage and waking my parents then telling them the situation and then going to car, driving to hospital etc. Getting first medical response took a long time yet I didn't feel much effect of pills, just an average dizziness and numbness.

About guns, you need people with connections. Dealers and hookers are good steps to meet shadier people. If you get caught, it's just weed or prostitution. Way better than trying to search a gun directly imo (unless you're in USA). It's risky but what's the worst thing they can do to you? Kill you? 🙂
