I'm considering jumping as my method to ctb and looking at the palisades cliffs in ny/nj it says at the highest point they're over 500 feet. It looks like there are a lot of trees though at the bottom. What do you guys think? I've read articles on people being successful just looking for some feedback.

I personally would be really afraid of getting badly hurt in my fall through those trees - many kinds of injury might happen, poked eyes, broken bones, ripped flesh and to top it all, to remain impaled on some branch, badly screwed and alive.

Tough one....
I suggest finding something that's at least 300 feet, but also with nothing that could break your fall.....

This, the tree could slow you down enough to keep you alive. Which would bring a new hell on itself, definitely wouldn't want to survive a jump.
