How difficult would it be to jump off a bridge in downtown chicago (duSable bridge and other less busy bridges) without being spotted
Or how long would it take to be spotted or for people to get suspicious before jumping?

And how likely is it for the jump to be fatal? Since the bridges are usually a bit under 20 feet high (16 ft for duSable bridge, 21 ft for Dearborn)

Any advice?

That is definitely not high enough. Do NOT make this attempt, you will be left alive in worse condition.

There was just a guy that jumped from a higher bridge around where I live. He survived just fine. Only problem he didn't think of was the crew rowing dock 100 feet away and a couple coaches there. They got into one of there coaching boats and pulled up next to him. He refused to climb aboard so they just floated along side of him. He finally had to give up when he realized they weren't going away and climb aboard. The police were at the dock when they pulled in.

I know 20 ft is definitely a bit too low so what is the minimum height for fatality? Since 20 can be fatal sometimes but there are always exceptions. Obviously the higher the better but the options are low
