I think it'd be swell if some kind of Right-to-Die petition could be made and try to gain some traction. (Obviously it would not include the name of the site and would need to include a petition per region.) How bad of an idea is this? Yall decide if it could be possible.
Change.org?
What say you? 🤨

Could the link(s) be allowed to sit here somewhere?
Would a petition ever even pick up speed since it requires real names?
Would it be worth the effort or just fall flat?
Would the repercussions just outweigh any leverage gained? Effectively canceling it out and then some?
Would the garnered signatures not even be able to effect any sort of real change without a campaign and lobbying to follow? Rendering the whole idea moot.
Can this just be done quietly on the down low to generate a discussion in the vain hope of enacting a step toward change? Would that even be worth the risk?

Not trying to create free negative advertisement nor am I volunteering to draw one up.
So how dumb, or not dumb, is this? Thoughts??

Is the goal to amend the UN Human Rights Declaration (which is certainly optimistic) or is this directed towards a particular national or state government?

I forgot to address that. I assume multiple petitions would be needed for multiple regions. I didn't have one particular in mind. Let me revise the thread to include that.

I think the best strategy would be to find a place (presumably in Europe) that is on the fence regarding passing right-to-die legislation and focus the whole world's attention on pressuring them to pass it. We then turn attention to the next domino, and so forth. Certain other regions will be a lost cause for the next few decades.
