Just saw some pictures that reminded me of my past life that's now very, very gone. It was a pretty good one lol. I had an amazing future. But seeing those pictures, and seeing me now... I immediately closed those pictures and bought my method.

Also, I thought I would be on this site longer before I had to ask this, but is there a more formal way to announce when/that you're CTB? I ask since I recall reading somewhere that accounts are supposed to be deactivated if a person decides to CTB. Thanks, all!

Sorry that life has brought you here, but welcome.

There's not really a formal process. If you post a goodbye thread and it appears that you've succeeded, mods will generally ban your account. It's just a measure to protect your own privacy should anyone access your device afterwards, not a strict rule or anything. You can also deactivate your account at any time from the profile menu.
