can i tie multiple shirts together to do partial hanging?

I'm desperate to die and i have no no tools very little time.

If i tie shirts together with knots can i make a make shift rope to hang myself and will that be enough?

You can try, but my bet is that it wouldn't work very well. Shirts make for wide and uneven ligatures, and the additional knots would probably further dampen the force applied by the shirts overall. Given how unreliable partial suspension is with the best of materials, I would give this low odds of succeeding.

I almost succeeded with a bathrobe tie, so I think it is possible. There is the risk that it breaks after you pass out, which could be bad news if you were out long enough to sustain brain damage from hypoxia.

i tried to do that in a drunk tank but was stooped because of a camera.

dont recommend doing it like that but it might work if your lucky
