It is very popular in Germany. I have friends who watch this fucking Sketch every single year at New Year's parties. In fact my friends watch it now I am really annoyed by this short film. There are versions of it in German dialects even. Like 10 different TV stations broadcast it today. I never could watch the whole thing. It is a comedy sketch with barely any texts. But the actors are British and when they speak which is seldom its British English. Holy shit this annoying fake laughing in the background is really getting on my nerves.

In Germany, Switzerland and Austria it is a tradition. A tradition I never understood. Finally, it is over. This was (thus far) my rant for today. So no hiatus for me.

I heard not many British people know about this sketch.
