This article is dated October 16th. "A" prefers Bitcoin payment. That don't look so anonymous anymore. If what law enforcement is claiming is true.

Just from the little i know about bitcoin, it's never been anonymous. Can't be, when you're self identifying with id and bank information.

I never thought it was. The PPH was saying it was anonymous. Supposedly the transaction was anonymous.

Bitcoin is anonymous when used with a VPN to mask the IP whenever you use it. It's also anonymous without a VPN until your internet provider gives up your IP address, ie: you're doing something illegal and law enforcement requests it.

Monero is a more private cryptocurrency that is much harder to trace.
