Just during selharm I was listening to music in headphones.I listened to her at the maximum, and she seemed too quiet to me, but after I cut myself and cried, I noticed that I began to hear better. Now my music is too loud for me.

Was it somehow influenced by the release of some hormones or something?

Possibly. You could've been stressed. Stress = muffled hearing. While cortisol is released upon injury. You likely had very high levels prior. And the dopamine/serotonin release from self injury counteracts what little was added. Therefore a net reduction cortisol. A decrease is associated with increased sound sensitivity. Ergo you hear better after. So yes. That said... this effect will decrease significantly over time.
