Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Like actually zero money? I guess the best method would be jumping. Highly depends on where you live and your access to high places. Other less pleasant options could be suicide by cop, car, or train. I wouldn't choose those methods over jumping without good reason though. If you have even like $20 and an enclosed space for it carbon monoxide is relatively cheap but takes some setup.

Jumping sounds like the least likely to cause harm to others even if still risky. "Suicide by cop", or train sounds way more unfair and avoidable.

I agree but I was just listing alternate options. They're terrible methods which will inevitably scar people for life (and don't have the highest chance of success anyway). I was just listing them for completeness.

Bags of charcoal can be expensive... I randomly noticed the other day while I was in a store. I think the cheapest bags I saw were $11... and if you need several bags, it can add up quick. Also, you need to have something sturdy to contain them while they are hot that will not burn or melt, which is more money.

So, yeah... killing yourself can't always be done so easily or inexpensively... especially if you're trying to do it without pain.

That's always such an important point.

Idk if the pain is worth it to crossover to the other side. I mean minimizing it is great, but as point its like idk if trying to minimize pain is perfectionistic or if you can just "bite the bullet" and go through with it even if its painful.

I mean there's pain and there's pain... We are usually in pain, the reason why we want to die... so adding pain to it seems counterproductive. Then, like if it was pain for just a couple of seconds then you die, that's doable... but what if it was a minute or several minutes or an hour? The pain of a minute+ can seem like an eternity when the pain is bad enough.

And then there's the fear/anticipation of said pain... you start to feel phantom pain and dread thinking it is going to hurt which makes it hard for you to do it.

Most of us, if there was a button we could press or a pill we could take and we would instantly fall asleep and die completely without pain or worry... we'd all be gone in an instant, especially if that pill was cheap or free.

But suicide is difficult, on several levels, and often isn't free unless the tradeoff is potential pain and anxiety for the cheaper methods. It sucks.

Yes I agree it does suck. No matter what I guess it will all end eventually but it feels really prolonged for sure. And the anticipation of pain is definitely shit, I suffered tons of panic attacks, high adrenaline and pain from that and the anticipation before attempts or considering attempts. Sometimes it's hard to determine if like if the pain from an attempt is really worse than the accumulation of pain across different periods or like if suffering would just constantly renew across life.

None of this is easy to think about, or form conclusions around at all.
