So I just learned two weeks ago that my aunt in her early 50s has stage III cancer. It has been a terrible shock to my family but it's also dissuaded me from suicide as I don't want my family to deal with a suicide on top of my aunt's possible death.

I was thinking of visiting her in the hospital and getting a present. Anyone have any ideas?

Sometimes just talking with someone can help, especially if you ask questions to help guide them down a path of pleasant memories. At the end of life things have a lot less value than people. Showing you care can be the best gift.
