There was a time I skipped the suicide discussion because it felt too depressing. I did not notice for a while that a person I liked committed suicide because of that.

There are so many members on here. And I think it would be too much for me to follow all of their stories. I think to protect myself I am not doing this. If I am too engaged in that I am too hurt if their lives end in misery and suicide. One thing is to follow single or a group of members.

But the whole webiste. There was a time I was more active on that. Especially, when the first NYT, VICE and BBC reports dropped. Now I am not even reading them anymore. There was even a time I read the tweets of the prolifers on Twitter. I am glad I stopped doing that. The whole defending the forum thing has become reptetitive. And I already elaborated on all my beliefs.

There are sometimes changes. But I am not good at following them. I think it is because of autism I am too focused on my threads which to have become a routine. And I try not to become too repetitive ;) But newer memebers don't even notice that.

I am sometimes overwhelmed by all the development and then I am focusing on myself instead which seems to be heatlhy.

What about you?

But yeah, reading the Suicide Discussion sub-forum long-term isn't feasible. You come for the Suicide Discussion, you stay for the Off-Topic.
