Discussion Are there any games you wish you were better at because you love the graphics?

I love the look of this game. (Cuphead.) It reminds me of the traditional Mickey Mouse cartoons. But, I'm so crap at the game!



Another one I love the look of but I'm just stuck at a level is: 'Ori and the Will of the Wisps'.

What games do you love the look of, sound of, whatever but, they defeated you?

I guess at least there are walk throughs now on YouTube but, they don't make me any better at platform games!

Every single game cause I suck at all of em.

But yeah, Cuphead is hard. I think it's perfectly acceptable to just watch someone else's gameplay just to appreciate all the great animation.

Cuphead and Ori are such beautiful games. Maybe you might be able to install mods to make it easier if you are not enjoying the difficulty or if you are okay with just watching videos then do that. I don't really struggle on most games and if I do struggle I enjoy it cus I am a masochist. Tho I suck and dislike most shooters.

I would like to play Cruelty Squad. People describe its art style as a bad drug trip and I think it just looks so interesting to me but I am worried I am not going to like it or be able to play it cus of it being a shooter:

Same! Even when I played with friends, Monster Hunter always felt too slow for me with all the weapons taking a million seconds to swing and the movement was also really finicky for me to get a handle of. I think I played one of the ones on 3DS and I just wanted to unlock the Lucina from Fire Emblem costume.

Never had a PC or phone to play full graphics.
And most of time I was bad.

But if there is a game I wanna be better , it's obviously counter strike 1.6 my first online video game. I even can't be better than mid+ ,

Good luck if you are trying to get all achievements for that game. There is one were you have to beat the game in under an hour without dying, Only 1.4% of people have got it on steam.

From Software games like Elden Ring and Dark Souls I like the graphics but these games are too hard for my liking and I'm not a fan of the gameplay formula either, however I managed to finish Bloodborne nearly a decade ago and I remember it being painfully difficult especially in the beginning.

Death Stranding is another one because it has great graphics, character models and cinematics but I can't get through the gameplay loop of it. I still haven't finished it to this day, so I won't get the sequel next year, it's too bad because it looks good.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: My weapons kept breaking and I couldn't get into it. I do like the graphics and artstyle of it. I wanted to get the sequel Tears Of The Kingdom but I probably won't ever get it unless I finish this one first.

I do hope you can do it, I am just warning and preparing you for the potential difficulty you are going to experience for getting all achievements for that game. Good on you for wanting to try that challenge. I love challenging and difficult games, mostly cus I love failing at games for some reason (why can't I put that same perspective for life) as well as how accomplished you feel from beating it.
