Are jumping ropes good enough?

Hello, catching the bus by the end of the week

Going tomorrow to get a jumping rope I'm not alone and the people around me have threatened to kick me if I went back into the hospital again because I'm on my 5th anxiety attack of the day

If that's not enough and I need thicker or nylon please let me know (jumping ropes should be right?)

nope. should get a nylon or polyester rope. you can't know the durability of a jumping rope and the weight it can hold, while a nylon rope can hold 200 lbs

Do you know what should be the required diameter? I can't find much for nylon but i can find for polyester it seems like

12 mm is the recommended but i heard 10mm can also be used
I can't read french so sorry if i'm misinterpreting the text but if that rope is really 3mm that's probably not going to work it would probably only pierce your skin because it's so thin
