I think I'm sinking into depressive psychosis.
I'm on a high dose of Mirtazapine but they're just not working.
I don't know what the procedure is if you end up on antipsychotics. If it's a psychiatrist who puts you on them, or GP?
It's obviously a big step cos of the side effects.

Im not in the UK but I believe that in some cases a GP can prescribe the meds, but you'd have better odds with a psychiatrist.

If the meds don't seem to be working let whoever prescribed them know, it's important for them to be aware of how the meds work for you
