There are plenty of logical inconsistencies surrounding the notion of an afterlife, particularly one as rigidly mapped as in religion. Nevertheless, reports of less than explainable receipt of information/intuition, as well as signs shortly after a loved one's passing, abound. Does anyone here have stories in that vein?

You think if I thought there was an afterlife I'd want to die? I'm counting on there being nothing after this. Whatever the hell this was, was more than enough. I don't need some sanctimonious deity telling me why I suffered, or to be reincarnated as an ant. And if it's either hell or heaven as most Abrahamic religions subscribe to some form of, I know for sure which one I'd be sent to. No thanks. Just give me the endless nothing of eternal rest please 🙏
