Just wondering, considering the method of nitrogen + exit bag is held as being the best way to go by many right-to-die societies. If you're reading Final Exit for example it'll tell you you need around 20 cubic foot and that an empty tank will cost about 20 dollars to fill.

I was all set on trying this only to find out that the biggest they'll supply you with where I live is 50 litres (that's not even 2 foot) and even at that amount it's massively expensive. Makes me think I must have made a mistake but it doesn´t seem that way. Disappointed to say the least.

You have to go for compressed gas. In my country I can get a 2 Liter gas tank that is filled with 99.8% pure nitrogen at 200bar. That makes roughly 400L of Nitrogen. So in theory a 5L bottle should be fine.

I just started reading about this because the more I thought about it after posting the more it seemed I'd misunderstood something. Thank you for clarifying!
