That is the only thing I look forward to nowadays. Somehow, pushing myself to the limits of my physical endurance is how I feel alive. Honestly, the only thing keeping me alive is that I have a new trek to plan every time I am back from one.

What hobbies do you guys/gals use as a crutch?

Yes. I got into winter hiking/mountaineering last winter to progress the 'danger' level and gives my anxieties and stresses valid reason to be heightened. Stops me worrying about non-stuff and being pathetic if I can be worrying about legitimate dangers.

Otherwise, gym classes for high intensity exercise (I get overwhelmed and overthink what/how much with exercises and just can't reach a good intensity when trying to plan sessions, but much more able to when there's an instructor telling me what to do and for how long and I can zone out to their music and 'just do'.
