I have a long term plan to CTB, but I have things I must finish before I go. Regardless, I sometimes worry about whether or not I am honoring God by committing suicide. Am I giving up on the plan that God has for me, or do any of you consider your suicide a part of his plan for you? Not looking for critiques of my faith in this thread, I would just like to talk with other Christians, as there is nowhere else I can bring these questions.

For me at least I think ctb is not in his plans but neither is us living in this world how it is. His original design for us was not what the world is today. When Jesus returns and creates a new heaven and new earth that's where us believers will be for all eternity minus all sin and pain. I like to believe that God is sad for me weeping that I am mentally burdened that I only see ctb as my way out and I also believe that no matter my decision God loves me and through Jesus sacrifice my sins will be forgiven and I will be able to be with him for eternity.

I'm Catholic and think about suicide all the time. Even St. Francis of Assisi address Death as "brother." PM me if you need to talk. ❤️

I'm Christian. I mainly grew up Catholic because of my grandparents and Christian schools even though my parents are both agnostic. They never made me go to church since they never went, but I still believe and consider myself Christian. If you want to PM me, I have all the time in the world.

Every single day and it's the only reason I am still here. Just when I think I've come to a decision, the questions begin again. I am non-denominational. I do not believe suicide is a sin that cannot be forgiven, but I do not believe that is God's plan. My reasons are health related and at times I just cannot suffer anymore. For now I hold onto Him and rely on His strength and I am still here. But I am very afraid when I won't be able to hang on anymore.

I find that the Good Friday liturgy helps me when I'm really struggling. I think we as a society are just plain not comfortable with death and it's a hard to find positive outlets for those of us with an interest in it. Hell, that's why I'm here.
