Anxiety, restlessness, heart racing...

I wish I could find a tiny square meter area in my room where to find solace.

I go outside, the palpitations follow me. I think about the past..., the future..., I try NOT to think..., nothing helps.

Rationality is not your friend here, we all know where many have been brought by rational thought.

Reading? After three pages you realize that you are just reading your thoughts back to you, the book in your hands is has no saying.

I discovered Bach's Matthew Passion, I print out the text and start listening to it. The world disappears, nothing matters anymore but the present.

I spend two hours pouring all my attention into Bach's Chaconne. As I understand the piece, I relalize how it understands me.

Both works deal with sufferance, and beautifully so. They shows that there is light at the end.

Give Bach a chance to listen to you, he knows what you are going through.

There is an order and precision in Bach that can work to reduce anxiety.
