idk why but these days, my touch starvation has been affecting me way more. i can't sleep because i don't have anyone to cuddle with. and since i'm ugly i'm not able to find a bf. so i'll have to deal with this issue until the day i die. yet i'm still expected to function like a normal person despite my circumstances being anything but normal. i'm lucky i'm unemployed right now because i have no idea how i'd juggle work and sleep derivation.

Not being able to sleep sucks. I remember when I was on mirtazapine (sleep med) I loved it. Woke up energized and not groggy. Slept in about 30 minutes after taking it. But quit it due to it making me hungry all the time. I wish anesthesia was normal and safe to take everyday. When I was under surgery for a stomach thing I gotten the best sleep of my life. Cant even describe how good it felt. One second you're dozing off the next second you're waking up.

Sleep is such a good way to cope with bad feelings, it makes you forget your problems for 8 hours. I hope you find a way to get more and better sleep. Best wishes!

My touch deprivation doesn't usually affect my sleep. My otherwise stress levels keep me awake, so I identify with you anyway... but the lack of touch only bothers me when I'm awake... once I make it to sleep I get a break from being painfully aware of being alone.

People somehow understand that humans need touch AND will chastise you for complaining about lack of it. Everyone who will tell you that you need a "hobby" or need to "love yourself" or that you need to enjoy being alone... those are people who are not touch starved. They may not have happy perfect lives, but they aren't lacking for touch or they could not say that so easily. Guarantee if you took their touch away for a significant period they would start to understand... but life is unfair in that way. Those of us who understand are not just alone in being untouched but alone in understanding.

The world is a cruel place when you are outside the norm. Those that want to be loved get treated like a pariah, and those that have love treat it like it's worth nothing.

Not sleeping is the worst. Do you ever use a stuffed animal. I mean, it's not the same but just wondered if it would help

I only survive because when i Finally nod off I leave this world behind for a few hours and it is bliss until I wake up to the reality and it is a kick in the head

speaking of mirtazapine, i'm genuinely considering starting seroquel again even though it made me dumber just so i can sleep again. this is torture :(

Strange timing... but... as it happens I stayed up all night last night... finally wore out around 2pm... slept a little over four hours before I got back up again. Still feel weird.

Sleep is a struggle for me too . I can't seem to sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time . Makes for a terrible next day . How the fuck can I be productive when I can't fucking sleep
