• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Does anyone else feel like their loved ones would rather you be alive and miserable than dead and at peace? I mean, my parents always tell me how much they love me and how all they want is for me to be happy, but if my life was in their hands and alive and happy wasn't an option, they'd most definitely choose any outcome where I was alive, regardless of my happiness.

In their mind, it goes:
--alive & happy
--alive & miserable

--dead & at peace

Its this stupid belief that death is inherently bad and that theres nothing worse than existing no more that I cannot stand. Even if you end up a vegetable they'll say "at least you are alive" which is the most retarded thing ive ever heard in my life, but many ppl do think that.

The problem with the logic of this is that there might not be any you left to be at "peace". So for all you know "your" ( as in for your existence) only choices might be alive +happy/miserable. So maybe that's why they want you to be alive? Because if people truly believed in eternal happiness, I dunno why any sensible person will choose not to kill themselves. Because after all you can all be together in eternal happiness

It's like they see you're alive and that's the main thing. Happy, miserable, it comes and goes most people think.

Of course, it's human emotion to want to keep someone. Humans are emotional beings, not rational. Also not to mention on top of that we're all taught "alive good, dead bad" and many other things that have no rational base. But of course, the average Joe doesn't have time or the capacity to try and think rationally and just accepts the lies that are fed to them.

I feel exactly the same, my parents want the best for themself.

They expect to get older and me taking care of them and thats kind of selfish if you ask me, they are pretty well aware on how desocialized I am.

Who is gonna take care of ME, when I'm old and surly, huh?
