i joined this forum a few days ago (had been lurking for a while tho) cause i was planning on ctbing very soon, and wanted to talk a bit with people going through the same thing.
i attempted yesterday, but the guilt overwhelmed me. I live with my sorta-ex gf, and i just couldn't stand the thought of her finding my body and having to go through that.
i went to the psych, and they barely did anything (expected), but they gave me an appointment soon where possibly maybe something would be done but idk i hate the psychiatric system.
ok, but then i've gone to stay with my mom for some time, and it's like she finally understands me and treats me well. I still have a hard time trusting her, but it feels like things are going in the right direction.
basically, i'm little bit hopeful ! so gonna put the ctb plans on hold. still gonna stay active here tho. this forum actually helps a lot. it's hard to find spaces where suicidality isn't shameful, but isn't encouraged either.

sorry for the ramble. don't know why i'm posting it. i'm just happier rn than i've been in a long time, and it's in part thanks to this forum<3

I'm very glad to hear that you have found hope! It is a valuable thing, especially when you have run out of it in the past. I know it's difficult, but accepting psychiatric help with an open mind makes it that much more useful. If you ever want to talk, we are here for you. Best of luck to you in your recovery!
