Hi guest. Your kind makes up the majority of the users here. I don't know who you are, but I know there are thousands of miserable people out there, too drained to go through the registration process or too afraid to speak up about your situation. Or maybe you are here to spy on us, passing on our details to the authorities who can then shut this place down.

That's why you choose to visit anonymously.

Some of you found here on a desperate night. Some of you put two and two together and came here despite BBC's unwillingness to name this site. Some of you discovered SaSu while going through your deceased loved one's browsing history (I'm sorry for you loss). Some of you don't even want to be here.

To other hopeless souls out there: I hope you'll find what you are looking for, I wish you all the best.

To those who wish to harm this site and doxx the members: please put yourself in our shoes. Open your eyes. The real nutcases are not here but in the hate-driven, violence-inciting shady corners of the net.

And what if someone wants to take their own life? No biggie. Suicide alone is not a crime, you should instead focus on those who pose a danger to OTHERS. And how can you allow those evil, narcissistic, psychopathic people in power to continue hurting us all, but react to innocent suicide attempts as if they were the worst possible crime against society?

Be honest to yourself: why do you give your support to painful executions performed by incompetent prison staff, but you won't give an ordinary John Doe the right to check themselves out?

Edit: changed New York Times to BBC

I hear you, but as a historical point of accuracy the NYT (unlike the BBC and most other news outlets), chose to name both the website and the substance in their exposé in 2021. The article is still available on the website:

Named or not, it started the trend of clumsy attempts to raise alarm that ultimately result in a wave of new members signing up.

it's correct that the site was named in the NYT. I know others who are here from that exact article.

Ace post, OP.

Interesting to know they published the name, this is a textbook example of the Mandela Effect. I had no idea they did although I've read the article numerous times haha.
