I hope this is allowed on this sub. This is a last ditch effort.
I've been lurking on here for quite some time and I just can't bring myself to ctb, just too many variables of plans not working and pain inflicted on people around me. My main source of misery recently has been that i can't get a job. I'm 22, and live in Syria and my family's economic situation is getting dire and they look at me as a source of support. I figured that a potential remedy to this, as opposed to CTBing, would be simply a job that can provide relief and act as a pressure valve for my family and I. It just that it is so hard to get out of Syria without someone on the other side helping me get a job somewhere. I know it's pathetic but it's worth a shot and ask if someone can help. I'm willing to anything for any amount. It's hard to explain but the difference in wages between the west and Syria is insurmountable, so I'm willing to anything and everything to get a job abroad. If you know someone that can help me with that I'd be ever so grateful.
Thanks in advance for your kindness and understanding

I can't help you directly, but I know my country hire seasonal workers to pick berries and similar work.
Ask ChatGPT. It will be able to give you a lot of suggestions, taking your skills, experiences, and salary requirements into account.
Also try to get in touch with Syrian expats (LinkedIn? I don't know where they are hanging out.). They are likely to both sympathize with your situation and know the system.

There's also the possibility of studying abroad, through various programs and international agreements.

ILDU are desperate for people, but I get that, that line of work isn't for everyone.

Thanks for your help. I just applied to the ILDU, the thing is Syria has been isolated for so long that it is not a part in any international agreements or programs, even the ILDU states that you have to be from a country that allows you to come to Ukraine without a visa, which Syria is not. I hope they can figure out a way to get me over there. I will keep your words in mind. Thanks for you time

I don't know if this would be of any help, but there are outsourcing jobs here in Bulgaria that are suitable for Arabic speakers. Your English is excellent and I imagine your Arabic as well. I used to work for TELUS Digital and they are a good company, overall. I know they help non-EU citizens get a visa to work for TELUS. But I don't know about the details. Perhaps you can explore some jobs and request info from the company. In some occasions, they could even help with relocation:

Although such jobs can be psychologically stressful at times, they are a really solid career start for a 22-year old person and the amount of transferable skills you can learn is very significant.

Wish you the best! 🤞

P.S.: I've heard Concentrix are also a decent company in outsourcing here in Bulgaria. They have this job offer for Arabic speakers: https://www.jobs.bg/job/8033869 Sometimes there are job postings on Linkedin that you wont find in jobs.bg, so it is worth checking there as well.
