Hello, everyone.

I'm sure all of you who are avid users of the site have seen conversations being spread around the forum today surrounding the topic of police welfare checks. I've seen many people claiming that authorities have arrived at their residences after they ordered SN for these "welfare checks". As someone who's just recently ordered SN from CCS this past week, the possibility of a welfare check is very concerning. However, I believe that its well within the realm of possibility to tactfully convince any authorities that may arrive that I am of sound mind and do not exhibit any suicidal tendencies. This thread is open for discussion about the recent influx of welfare check claims that have been floating around the forums, and more so how to deal with said welfare checks. Seemingly, the time frame for said checks to be taking place after a person has ordered SN is erratic and completely random.

I know it may be tough for most people, but literally try to turn into award winning actors/actresses and pretend like you have no idea what is going on and are clueless about the CTB part. Be confident and make facial expressions in your shock. Know your rights in your country. Search up sodium nitrite uses as your excuse of purchase. DO NOT let them in and search, You do not have to give them your SN. (Hide it well) Say you already finished it, it's all gone for the purpose you were using it for if it's been a while since you bought it. They might try to use scare tactics on you. Stand strong and speak confidently. It is not illegal and you did nothing wrong. I suggest recording before you even start having a full blown conversation. You need to remain calm and sound so it doesn't seem that you are mentally ill. Not too sure about the involuntary hospitalization but as a human being you can state that as a right they do NOT have your consent. This will be tough I know but as humans, we need to fight. You can cry and breakdown all you want afterwards but don't let them scare you. We need to play them at their own game. Think smartly.

Wish you guys well! We're going through a vulnerable, terrifying and absurd time right now. It's absolutely ok to cry and feel bad.

I dont think they've done these checks for ccs. Just ic. So far from what I've seen.

At the moment the welfare checks are for EM and IC buyers, Police is visiting EVERYBODY who bought from any of those 2 sites (which were both ran by KL) using a list of names and addresses provided by the INTERPOL.

There are also a couple of countries where they have directly done raids with search warrants. At the moment I have seen 3 reports (2 from Switzerland and 1 from Malta) but this is uncommon since getting a search warrant for somebody who hasn't committed any crime to seize stuff that is 100% legal is very difficult or even impossible in most countries, that's why in most cases they are just doing wellness checks.​

A criminal inside the house with illegal stuff in his possession, so they can search for evidence of a crime and confiscate any evidence they find. Basically the Police has to convince a judge to emit the warrant, which is very difficult in this case since it isn't illegal to have SN or inert gas regulators.​

How did they manage to get a warrant in some cases (supposedly)? It shouldn't happen.
